Open Studio Projects is designed for makers with some experience — whether that’s a little or a lot — looking for studio time with support.

3-hour sessions
Thoughtful feedback, individual discussion and assistance to develop your work successfully
Materials included
- 2kgs of studio clays: white raku, white stoneware or coloured stoneware clays
- stoneware glazes and underglazesTools supplied
On site bisque and glaze firing services available
Work in progress storage (within reason)
If there is a particular skill you need — such as sgraffito or pinch coiling, glazing techniques — additional tuition can be scheduled

This is the ideal place for independent makers who value professional guidance, creative exchange. I’m here to help you realise your projects and keep your making practice moving forward.
These group sessions encourage generous sharing of ceramics experience, ideas, experimentation, knowledge and fun. You’ll also learn new skills, techniques and tips and hints to successfully complete your projects. You can try out different clays, glazes, tools, techniques and even gold lustres.
If you don't have any experience, I recommend that you do my 4 week Start-up for Beginners and you’ll to be ready to start.
What to bring
Drawings or inspirational images to get us started
Any specialty clay, glazes, materials or tools you'll need for your project
An apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty

Thursdays 1.30 — 4.30pm
Saturdays 2 — 5pm
